Tomorrow morning we will be departing for Badlands National Park in South Dakota. We are (hopefully) leaving around 7am. It will take two days to reach the Badlands since I am the only one driving but we will probably get there sometime Sunday evening. Traveling on the Fourth of July will hopefully give us good traffic conditions all day tomorrow. I expect us to be somewhere between Kansas City and Omaha tomorrow night where we will find somewhere to stop and watch the fireworks, then continue on our trip in the morning. The first leg of the trip is about 1,421 miles and according to GoogleMaps, will take around 21 hours. Wish us luck and we will talk to you on the road!

...and we're off!
